hasn't felt the same

Hey ladies. It hasn't felt the same for me lately to blog over here. I am going through a lot of stress right now. Some personal things messing up with my blogging world. Miss Cara
told me to update my blog more and that made me smile. I just feel weird lately and I am slipping into a world that is altered. I'm just sad I guess. I am not sure if I should even blog here anymore. Anyways just for Cara I am blogging because I love her! She also added me on facebook which was a pleasant surprise. :]

On behalf of Cara..I am going to answers to questions she asked me earlier.
1) Do you have your own apartment?
Yes, I do! I actually am moving out by August 22nd. I haven't found a place to live yet though.. and I am not sure if i am even staying here now. (Oh Cara if you look at the birthday picture of me that you commented on you'll see my apt living room in the background:]. Oh and bedroom door ;])

Do you have a job?
Currently..no. I hate it. It drives me crazy. I am praying/hoping to get this nanny position I just was interviewed for today. It is perfect for me honestly. Its the only motivation I've had lately. *fingers crossed, prayers keep going* Please, keep me in your prayers! I really need this job to stay in wilmington.

I am loving the idea of fall right now. I am craving to get a few of these items for my fall wardrobe. What do you all think? I know my style is a little odd.. :]


These shoes are gorgeous. I want to wear more heels this fall :]. I also want a pair of clogs..

dress day 2

oh my goodness i spent so much money today! after work i ended up going to the mall with my close friend kate, my sister and my boy. i bought the most lovely peach colored,strapless, sweetheart neckline dress. i loveee it! i also got a super cute floral romper and a black/grey tube scarf. Okay enough about my shopping. Sorry shopping is my ultimate happiness.

This would be my dress for day 2. I went with a more simple look today. I like how this dress fits and i love the floral! Also, my earrings were the best part though. They are stunning.

I want to touch base on a few things I'd like to talk about. So there is this wonderful, amazing band i love! I think some of you may appreciate them as well. They are called Au Revoir Simone. They are lovely. All girl band, who play keyboards with catchy beats and lyrics. Check them out! My favorite song is Sad Song . They are definitely a great band to look into!


So I want to have another giveaway. Like a beauty giveaway with some of my favorite products or something. But to do this I need more followers. So spread the word and I'll appreciate it dolls!

Last but not least. My friend Heather's husband just passed away yesterday. He was in Afghanistan and died serving our country. She is only 19 and they haven't been married even a year yet. Will you all just give her a quick prayer? Or maybe send loving thoughts her way. thank you!

whattt a week!

this week has been one crazy week! i've been super busy with various celebrations and events. No time to really update at all haha. This update those is going to be pretty picture heavy!


Last saturday, I went and saw Beach House in Chapel Hill. It was my first time at chapel hill and i loved it! Such a cute little town. Beach House was so amazing. I felt like I was in a 1970s disco. Everyone was just swaying and dancing to the music. It was contagious, the night was alive, and the music was sinfully good. If you haven't heard of beach house. Then take a quick listen to one of their songs. I promise you will like it. Although, it is quite different.. i adore it.



Tuesday, I had a little star wars themed party. "May the fourth be with you." The costumes were loosely based on characters we chose. I was Leia, and my bf actually made my dress in one night! I actually loved the dress. It wasn't anything like the costume she was known for..but i wanted it to be a cute summery dress. I also couldn't pull of the two bun look because of my thin hair..so i went with one.


dress my boyfriend made me. he did it on his own, his design, and no pattern. I was impressed. Specially since it was just such a quick thing.

Last update of my week was last night. cinco de mayo! I enjoyed a few margaritas with my fave people, watched 500 days of summer, and went on a late night trip to our favorite food place Jimbo's for some pancakes.

On Friday I got the job as an assistant for an accounting firm. Which is a real blessing because it pays amazing, and it will help me pay for my bills. I also received $100 gift card to Victoria Secret. So question is..what is your favorite Victoria's Secret item? The reason I ask you is because I feel like spreading the love for another giveaway in a week or so! Give me feedback and I'll start another giveaway. 1) Open Back Dresses or Low cut dresses in the back. Or dresses with some detail in the back. I just find it so stuning.



2) KNEE SOCKS! I love them so much. I just got three pairs for work tomorrow. Black, grey and navy with polka dots. Too cute.


3) Zooey's style. I mean I am always obsessed with her but I can't stop drooling over her style. She is just too gorgeous!

this may be a drawn out post but there is a lot i need to add haha. today was a really goood day for a few reasons! i have an interview at some office as an assistant which would be great. I just need to dig around for a nice outfit to wear. I also received something lovely in the mail today. but more of that in a bit..

this book is amazing. everyone needs to check it out. it started out kind of slow but in the end i loved it. it draws you in and you can't put it down.

give away, sick, and cute dress

i was debating as to what i would write about what tickled my fancy. later tonight or tomorrow i am going to post my first giveaway. it won't be anything huge or anything like that just something cute and small but it will be fun. anyways I will post about my outfit from last night.

I had to go to the doctor today because I have some weird infection thats causing my glands to swell under my arm pit. it hurts so bad and the pain spreads up my arm. its horrible gah, i am hoping it goes away.

i just got the dress yesterday. it was instant love at first sight. it was only 15.99 too! i got it from a place i normally never shop at too which was suprising.




dress-Abercombie and Fitch. Weird find but its so comfy, no zippers or anything i love the floral.
long sleeved shirt- Forever 21. The temp has dropped down strangely and I couldn't find a cardigan to wear over it.
knee socks- wal mart for a dollars. i love socks and heels lately!
heels- charlotte russe. another bargain buy..only $6.50!
